Sporty? Arty? New Mom? Here Are Bridesmaid Dress Ideas For Each

  • When I browse around at my friends, they're quite different.

Some are really the home bods. Always perform a spot of decorating or DIY. Fabulous cooks. I always talk to them when I take some inspiration on which to cook, things to plant during my garden inside a certain area, or how you can cram my clothes in to the storage space I have available.

Then you will find my sporty friends who live in a fitness center, around the tennis court, and try to seem to be planning for a competitive run or event. Good for motivating me when I feel a little sluggish, want to get fit for skiing, or wish to sort out my post-Christmas fitness.

And then I've got friends with young families who're up to their necks in child car seats, diapers, soft play center dates - and try to seem to be announcing they are having another baby.

At another end from the scale are my career women friends who inspire me using their energy, clear thinking, ambition, and personal time management. I anticipate hearing about their travels.

So What Should They All Wear?

If you've selected a group of bridesmaids who're all completely different (not to mention, they might not know each other) you are going to have to place the work and research directly into make sure that they think comfortable looking their best in whatever prom dresses you select.

What you really shouldn't do is simply present your girls having a dress that's one style suits all. Because it probably will not. We're all different shapes, sizes and also have features we like yet others, less. It's a case as always, of focusing around the good and disguising the remainder. So considering the types from the girl above, I've come up with some dress styles by Dessy that may suit athletic types, new moms or moms-to-be, romantic types, and those who're always around the move.

    For a domestic goddess who's a little of a romantic ...

Something a bit floaty, classic and understated. Breezy chiffon and one-shoulder bridesmaid styles - contemporary and classic all simultaneously.

    For the fitness guru...

Sporty girls will often have beautifully toned arms, waists, and legs. So allow them to show them off inside a fitted, sleeveless bridesmaid dress.

The girl who's just were built with a baby or perhaps is expecting one...

Maternity bridesmiad gowns are designed to flatter - and when your friend has were built with a baby just recently, she'll feel at ease wearing one too.

And for the lady who's always traveling...

Our convertible blush bridesmaid dresses are ideal for travelers because they pack beautifully and merely shake on arrival. Your bridesmaid can drape hers to match her - and she'll think it is a fabulously useful wardrobe addition later on, long afterwards your wedding day.

We've shown all of the dresses above in shades of Navy, but you will find them inside a multitude of different colors.
