With the improvement of LED technology and the mainstream of energy saving and environmental protection in society, LED lamps are used to replace the previously configured mercury lamps, so that uv led printer equipment enters the trend of energy saving and environmental protection. In the trend, it is to adapt to the development of the times and not to be eliminated. What is the difference between the machine using LED lamp and mercury lamp?

    LED lights:
    1. LED has a long life span, some can reach 80,000 hours under certain conditions, and a little shorter, can reach 30,000-50,000 hours.
    2. The LED has narrow wavelength and high concentration, and the emitted light wavelength is basically attributed to the absorption scale of the photoinitiator in the ink.
    3. The LED surface light source irradiates uniformly.
    4. The LED can easily adjust the radiation intensity, and adjust the corresponding power according to different materials.
    Mercury lamp:
    1. The mercury lamp is driven by high voltage, which consumes high power, and the power is mostly from several kilowatts to dozens of kilowatts, and it must be preheated after it is turned on. The lamp life span is about 800-1000 hours.
    2. The mercury lamp has a large wavelength scale, a large amount of heat, and a low curing power. The ultraviolet spectrum used for effective curing only accounts for a part of the energy, and a large part of it is infrared radiation, which simply causes heat-sensitive workpieces to be deformed.
    3. The mercury lamp needs to be equipped with cooling equipment, resulting in many auxiliary equipment and messy operation, which together increase the operating cost.
    4. Irradiation is uneven. Along the length of the tube, the luminous intensity at both ends is weaker than the middle part, and it cannot emit light uniformly, and it cannot reach the flat object evenly. This makes the light absorbed by the curing material different and affects the curing effect.
    5. The adjustability is poor. The mercury lamp radiation intensity adjustment is generally realized by changing the number of lighting tubes in the multi-light source. The corresponding radiation intensity changes between a limited number of values, and the application is not flexible.
    6. Mercury lamps and halogen lamps are polluted by heavy metals, which pose a burden to the surrounding environment.


    Comparison of the advantages of uv printer LED lamp and mercury lamp:
    1. Energy saving: At present, the luminous power of 50W LED high bay lights is more than 5000lm, which is equivalent to the illuminance of 150W high pressure mercury lamp. It can also reduce the power consumption of about 20W rectifier, and the power saving rate reaches more than 50%.

Lifespan: Calculated based on the current technical level and test results, the lifespan of LED high bay lamps can reach 50,000 hours, while the lifespan of traditional high-pressure mercury lamps is less than 5,000 hours. On average, it needs to be replaced once less than a year. Some It even needs to be replaced once every 3 months.
    3. Environmental protection: Because there is no ultraviolet and infrared in the spectrum, neither heat nor radiation, it is attributed to the green light source. Compared with the previous high-pressure mercury lamp, the LED lamp is mercury-free, waste can be recycled, and no pollution.

    In contrast, LED lights are more suitable for the energy-saving and environmental protection policies advocated by society today.
