  • But a bunch of angels shepherding the spirits of the dead to where they belong into the Shadowlands is pretty much exactly what I expected from a minumum of Wow gold classic one of the covenants in Shadowlands, therefore what really blew me away here was which personalities were chosen to illustrate the covenant's purpose.

Blizzard based the debut into the Kyrian covenant around Uther the Lightbringer, who is one of the most critical characters in all of Warcraft.

From the animation, Uther's soul arrives on the doorstep of the Kyrian in Bastion, since there's some type of afterlife sorting system which places souls where they belong into the Shadowlands. However, Uther can't let go of his life, and he thirsts for justice. He is chastised for this for a while before Devos, the Paragon watching over him, finds that his spirit is wounded from Frostmourne, the Lich King's blade

Now, I could probably enter super-deep detail about why some of the matters, but I will save myself the effort, and you the agony of digging it. And, Arthas, who has caused so much harm, by apparently channeling the ability of this maw, was throw into this evil place from the soul of his youth teacher who expired with his blade.

This is a cartoon that is totally in the realm of fan service but it's totally working.

I already kind of had an idea that Blizzard would use the fact that we will essentially be questing throughout the afterlife to revisit a lot of old characters, but if that is what we're going to see out of this, I am even more enthusiastic. Through the storied history of Warcraft over the last 26 decades, there have been a ton of amazing characters -- both good and evil -- which have bit the dust in 1 manner or another.

I haven't been playing these games since their beginning, I am not old enough, but I have been playing long enough to get a load of sentimental attachment to plenty of characters, especially ones that are no longer with us.

Shadowlands is just two weeks away at this point, and I can not wait to go in and get my hands onto it. There are a ton of dead characters I would love to see again, and when the Bastion cartoon is anything to go by, it looks like I'm going to get that desire.

If nothing else, this move continues to indicate the change from mechanical hard drives to solid state ones. Finally, check out 10 Souls we'd like to see in Shadowlands.
